MURON Fabric Supplied to doublet and Featured in the Spring/Summer 2027 Collection

We supplied fabric made with MURON, a recycled yarn produced from 100% discarded fishing nets collected in Japan, to the Japanese fashion brand doublet. The fabric was selected for use in several looks from doublet's Spring/Summer 2027 collection,
which was presented as part of the Paris Collection.

The Paris Collection takes place during Paris Fashion Week, held in Paris, France, from June 23 to June 28, 2026, where a carefully selected group
of brands from around the world unveil their latest collections.

A DAY IN THE LIFE — Bringing Future Materials into Everyday Life

The theme of doublet's latest collection is “A DAY IN THE LIFE — Future Materials in Everyday Life.” Rather than portraying next-generation materials as something extraordinary, the collection imagines a future in which they have seamlessly integrated into
daily life and become a natural, everyday choice.

The collection draws inspiration from a diverse range of resources that have attracted attention as innovative materials, including atmospheric CO₂, wood, carbon, bananas, marine resources, and agricultural waste. Through these materials, it poses important questions such as:

・What makes a material truly good?
・How can sustainable manufacturing become embedded in everyday life?

MURON as a Future Material

MURON was selected as one of these future materials.

The collection's vision of a future where environmentally responsible materials are no longer viewed as special alternatives, but are instead chosen naturally by everyone in their daily lives, strongly resonates with MURON’s own philosophy: to create a world where sustainable materials are used as a matter of course, without needing to be discussed or highlighted.

This shared perspective led to the adoption of MURON in the collection.

The runway show can also be viewed on YouTube.

Of the collection's 45 looks, 19 featured MURON.

Moving forward, we will continue to support doublet's distinctive creative vision and its commitment to challenging conventions through our expertise in material development. Through the ongoing development of sustainable materials, including MURON, we aim to contribute to the future of fashion while collaborating with brands in Japan and around the world.

We appreciate your continued interest in our initiatives.
