MURON® filament and fabrics supplied to doublet, used in part of the 2026 Spring/Summer collection
We supplied MURON®, made entirely from discarded fishing nets collected in Japan,
to the Japanese fashion brand doublet.
In addition to the filament itself, fabrics woven using MURON® as the weft yarn were also provided and featured in some of the looks presented during doublet’s show in Paris.
This runway show was part of Paris Fashion Week, held from June 24 (Tue) to June 29 (Sun), 2025, where top fashion brands from around the world reveal their latest collections.
In its latest collection, doublet explored the Japanese phrase “itadakimasu”, reinterpreting it into a theme of respect for nature, life, and those working in primary industries.
Their creative process incorporated encounters with ocean waste recycling activities, agriculture, fishing, and livestock industries, leading to questions like:
“What makes a good material?” and “What is true luxury?”
The result was a collection that revisits the origins of clothing and promotes the value of circularity.
Show highlights are also available on YouTube.

Of the 40 looks presented, 9 featured MURON® materials.
We are proud to support doublet, a brand known for its unique vision and commitment to innovation, by contributing through the development of sustainable materials like MURON®.
Going forward, we aim to collaborate with both domestic and international brands to help shape the future of fashion through sustainable practices.
